George Lichter's Career
George Lichter is accomplished in the web, software and entertainment industries. Currently, George Lichter serves as a Special Advisor of Strategic Partnerships at Cause and Affect, a company dedicated to engaging the public in social causes through innovative media and strategy. In addition to his role at Cause and Affect, Mr. Lichter founded and manages his own web-based company, InsiderSites and serves as a Director on the Board of Yoga Works.
During his career, George has held the titles of CEO of Yoga Works, CEO of Ask Jeeves International, and CEO of InfoSearch Media. As CEO of Ask Jeeves International, Mr. Lichter helped develop culturally and linguistically diverse markets such as the Japanese and Hispanic markets. Under Mr. Lichter's leadership, Ask Jeeves became the leader in search and navigation services in the UK and Ireland.
While at InfoSearch Media, George facilitated the multimillion dollar sale of it's web asset, Answerbag.
In addition to his numerous occupational pursuits, George enjoys practicing Yoga for stress relief and overall physical health. Mr. Lichter believes that taking time out to meditate or doYoga a few times a week can greatly increase a person's flexibility and sense of well-being.
